Customer privacy is important to Envoy

What Information Does Envoy Collect?  

Envoy collects personal information from our customers during the course of providing specific services. Personal information such as a customer's name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, membership number and consumer preferences as well as activity information may be collected during the service delivery process.

Envoy collects personal information from its customers to facilitate the delivery of our services. The following are some of the typical reasons for personal information collection:

  • To ensure the customer is a member of a specific user group and is entitled to specific services
  • To register an order or agreement to provide specific services
  • To tailor referral services to a customer's unique needs (i.e. residential, commercial, business, rural, etc.)
  • To provide reporting to the member group client on program usage by its membership

When you visit our website, Envoy automatically collects your computer's network address, the site from which you linked to us and the date and time of your visit. Envoy asks for your contact information if you wish to be contacted by our Customer Care Centre to learn more about our products and services.

 

Why Does Envoy Require This Information?

To confirm your identity and membership status and verify eligibility for specific products and services; to confirm your compliance with a client's program guidelines; and to send applicable information and benefits to you.

To understand your needs so Envoy can customize services to fit the needs of individual customers.

To notify you of new relocation offerings or opportunities that may be of interest.

To develop new products and services that may appeal to Envoy customers. We may analyze your use of our current services so that Envoy can develop new products or improve existing offerings.

To manage our operational activities - Envoy analyzes customer usage of communication systems, networks and other facilities to ensure that we have effective operational supports in place to service customers. Envoy also uses this information to plan effectively for future development and growth.
